About Suckle and Snooze
My name is Janis McEvoy and I am Suckle and Snooze.I have been a registered nurse for 19 years. For the last 7 years I have worked with mothers, babies and children as a Child and Family Health Nurse (CFHN). During this time I have helped many mummas on their breastfeeding journey. I have been able to provide education and support to many families during this time.

Through Suckle and Snooze, I am committed to helping women achieve their breastfeeding goals. As a CFHN and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) I am able to carefully assess mother and baby in order to prepare breastfeeding plans and monitor baby’s growth and development.
I have experience with all facets of breastfeeding, from supply issues, latching concerns, oral assessment, mastitis, breast care, breast refusal and weaning.
From antenatal breastfeeding information to make the transition to breastfeeding mumma as smooth as possible, to weaning a toddler, and every stage in between, I am here to inform and support without judgement.
